How Do I Clean the Seals on My Hydrogen Water Bottle?Updated 2 months ago

Over time, seals in your Hydrogen Water Bottle may develop spots of mold or mildew. Don’t worry, this is common with reusable bottles, and it’s easy to clean safely.

Step 1: Remove the Seal

  • If possible, take the seal out of the lid or bottle.

  • This makes it easier to clean thoroughly.

Step 2: Choose a Cleaning Method

You have two safe options:

Quick Clean (Bleach Soak)

  • Mix a small amount of household bleach in water.

  • Soak the seal for 10 minutes.

  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until there’s no bleach smell left.

Deep Clean (Natural Vinegar Soak)

  • Mix equal parts vinegar and water (50/50).

  • Soak the seal overnight.

  • Scrub gently with a brush and dish soap.

  • Rinse well and let air dry completely.

Step 3: Reassemble

  • Once the seal is completely dry, place it back into your water bottle.

  • Make sure it’s seated properly to avoid leaks.
